Any suggestions of automatic feeders... im afraid my texas hunters will spay too far to feed consistently..
thanks
Dustin
Dustin, Look into Koi feeders that just drop the feed. I will be using them in the future at my three high schools I've set up fish tanks for. I think this is one of them. I have lost my original link. http://www.thatpetplace.com/ani-mate-fish-mate-p7000-pond-fish-feederThe cage looks awesome. The only downside is the mesh being as small as it is may clog more quickly with algae. Or perhaps not. It depends on your water.

If pigs could fly bacon would be harder to come by and there would be a lot of damaged trees.

Thanks for the comments,
Any information on growing CNBG and Golden Shiner in same cage? considering doing this vs putting a partition, but then feeding gets more complicated...
thanks

Dustin, I used a Aquapro DX-25 feeder with some metallic tubing over the discharge port to focus the food into the cage. My cage was next to the dock which made this feasible. The DX-25s are about $100.

So i went with this feeder 70 dollars: and here it is as i am putting it together.. i think for the small Aquamax, it is going to work very well. I hope to have fish soon, and will give you an update on how it works.

Dustin,
What is it and where did you get it?

http://www.wildgameinnovations.com/products/feeders/pile-drivr.htmlBrand is wildGame Innovations, and they sell mid- level moderate quality stuff, it is no Texas Hunter, but has a different purpose. here is the official website, but if you shop around, it can be had for cheaper. It gets ok reviews, but it has a gear drive feed, and i really think it will do great if you are not wanting to spread a LOT of feed over a large area, but rather desire to put feed in a concentrated area. I think that's great for a cage if you can feed the correct amount of food.

Dustin,
How did this feeder work out? Was it able to feed a small enough amount of feed per dose?
Thanks Rob C
