Green Frog. Common here... Probably a more scientific name to it than this, but that is what we call 'em.

What we call Leapard frogs here are almost an emerald sheen, beautiful coloration, and boy can they jump!
We find them early in the morning hunting in the dew of the front lawn. They go hell-bent after the insects in the yard. Lots of hatchlings from last year, and we are so proud to host so many of them!

We had a house in the country and I built my wife a goldfish pond off our bedroom. On a full moon in the summer these frogs would mate all night long. They are about as loud as locusts when mating but they would leave after they laid their eggs. Very cool little guys.
Two ponds, 13 and 15 acres on the Mattaponi River.
