You guys were talking about sweeping or scrubbing the pond bottom, I've never heard or read anything about that technique. Could you please elaborate on the when's where's and why's. Thanks.

Those comments were made in regard to a sumberged gunnite shelf (bottom) that encompassed the perimeter of an urban pond. That particular pond is basically half "pond" and half swimming pool. I don't think such practices would, should or could be employed in earthen-bottom ponds. But, I've been surprised before. What did you have in mind?
