While playing golf at my local course last weekend, I saw several bass right off shore guarding there nests.... There were prolly about 10 nests within 40 feet, and every one of them had 4 or 5 golf balls at the bottom of the nest, and none around the nest.... Is it possible the bass moved the golf balls into the nests as if they were rocks??? Thats my guess. If the water is still clear tomorrow I will try and get pictures

Those were eggs..

My bet is those golf balls were lost in the bottom sediment and were too heavy to be fanned out of the nest when the LMB made the nest.

Those were eggs.. Those might be the elusive "man-eating" bass. They place the Golf balls there to lure a victim into reaching for them, and then pull the guy under to drown him.
