Hey guys, my dad and I have been managing our .5 acre farm pond for about ten years now and just want your guys opinions on it. General pond layout is a oval shape, along the east side half is a shallow slope with mostly gravel and small rocks. Also along the east side is a big willow tree at the base of a feeder stream, but then it changes into a steeper angle with cattails and some rock ledges into about 5 feet of water. At the south end of the pond is a flat end in about 3-4 feet of water with some mud, rocks, wood, and cattails this is typically the bedding zone. Coming up the west side is a vertical drop off to three feet. Also along the west side is 6 sunken Christmas trees, 4 8" teracota pipes, 2 4" teracota pipes, and a 12' foot wooden dock. The north end is very similar to the south end. In the middle of the pond in a deep channel ranging from 9 feet to the deepest spot of 12 feet, and the average depth of the pond is about 6-7 feet. As far as fish with have bluegills with average size of 4-5 inches long and about 3 inches tall. We have a good population of bluegills of hand size and bigger with the biggest I have caught about a pound. We also have large mouth bass with average size of 12 inches long, 3 inches tall, and a inch across the back. The bass in the pond range from just really little guys to the biggest i have caught which was about 7lbs. We also have crappie which are typically around 8 inches. Also there are White suckers breeding in the pond, brown bullheads, we stocked about 15-20 trout about 9 inches( I think they got ate), six walleyes which are about 17 inches long(not spawning), and about 17 Israeli carp(not spawning) for algae control. we have also have yellow perch but for the last 6-7 years all we can catch is little perch about 6 inches long. Also in our pond we put them in about 5 summers ago is sliver channel catfish. They are spawning now with the biggest around 30 inches. We are this year going to take a few of the 25+ inch out. We also feed our fish a few medium size handfuls of floating feed a day from mid april(early spring) to october( mid fall). Sorry about the long read just want your guys opinions.

Just the overall health of the whole system, what would you recommend, what would you do if you were in our position. Our main goal is just to have a good fishery with a variety of fish with some big fish also.

Do you want to change anything about the pond (size of the individual fish, less of this one or that one, etc.) or are you happy with it as it stands?

Without fairly detailed information, not only about what's in the pond right now and what the population trends over the past few years are, it'll be pretty hard to guess at the overall health of the pond.
As far as advice goes, it depends on your goals. "Good" advice ranges from "leave everything alone" to "rotenone tomorrow"-it depends on you.
FWIW, it sounds like you've got a nice place that would be fun to fish. When you go down there, what would you like to be different? Maybe that's a place to start.
