I have a blower from an old Jennaire range. I was thinking of making an aerator out of it. Does anyone know if this would be practical? Would that type of blower move enough air?
In Dog Beers, I've had one.

heybud,
This blower would be great for large volumes of air for an aquarium shop or aquaculture tank, but for pressure to get to the bottom of the pond, it will not cut it.
Due to the laws of physics, it takes 1 psi to go down 27" of water. A blower typically is made to push a large volume of air (especially one for a range). But it is not designed to have to push this air through long, small lines down toa depth of a pond.

Thanks for the advice on the Jennaire idea. I give that idea up. My pond is sometimes 3 acres and currently about 1.5 acres. When full it is about 15 feet deep, probably now about 8 or 9 feet. Could you recommend a system as we would like to put something in this spring.
In Dog Beers, I've had one.
