Hello everyone,
I was woundering if Needle Rush(Eleocharis acicularis)would do alright in the shallows and create a food source or good cover.

It is a very good plant for shoreline stabilization. It does not grow deeper than 6"-12" and never becomes a problem. IMO it is one of the best emergent plants for pond shorelines.
