Geek Tip: If you are one of the millions who hates the Windows 8 user interface, this is for you. It is free and it works. It retains the windows 8 shell if you want to switch back and forth. We use it for our clientele. The blank stare at Windows 8 changes to "Wonderful, thank you, thank you!". Start

Funny how File Manager and the classic interface just worked for so many people. I still like it better than my Mac's file browser.

Funny how File Manager and the classic interface just worked for so many people. I still like it better than my Mac's file browser. I have a brand new copy of the first release of Windows (MS DOS 2.11) in the sealed box. It isn't shrink wrapped but has seals on the box ends. Did they have shrink wrap back in 1983? Can't recall....... It is for sale; first $25,000 takes it.

Dwight I still have my entire MSDN disk collection. I don't remember it going all the way back to 2.1. I think 3.1 was the cut off on my stuff. All I needed was the server and SQL software anyway.

Sorry, cd's. Guy I worked with still had his 5.25's til his house burned. You should have heard the arguments with the insurance company on those. They had no love for any legacy hardware/software.
