I have a new 4 acre pond in Nebraska. What brand of electric pump unit should I look at. Are there some I should avoid. I have an island in the middle of the pond, so two diffusers should work fine. A frend has had good luck with Aquatic Eco-Systems. Can I just wrap some #9 wire around the hose to sink it ? I plan to run the unit 24/7. Thanks,in advance

An island in a pond acts as a big baffle to water movement or circulation. Ponds with islands are best aerated with a diffuser on each side of the island: north, south, east, and west.

Does Koenders have that? Or can you direct me to where I can get something like that? Would that be two diffusers at the same spot or split into two different areas of the pond?
