How would it be if we would start the aeration system and move the stones down a little deeper in the water ,lets say every 2 days? We have about 10 ft of water now. If it rains we could have 4 ft more depth. Would that be to fast of a change in the water? Have not purchased one yet so don't know if it would be worth it. Looking at windmill type because of no juice! If you cannot control it do you leave them running all year long?

One additional concern is even when replacing a system. I removed a venturi type destratifier and replaced with a mix air tech on the same 1/3 HP pump and still had some problems with summer startup. It was my fault for overestimating the effectiveness of the old system. It apparently wasn't doing squat. Robert B fishmgr@hotmail.com
