Can the two fish species live together successfully in an 1-2 acre pond?

Sure. But the White Bass won't spawn. Make sure you have the correct forage for them. I don't know if they will be able to keep BG offspring numbers in check.
Do you have a source where you can get White Bass?
Have you gave any thoughts to HSB?

Why stock W.Bass (WB)if you can get HSB? HSB is sort of like a WB on steroids. The meat is very similar texture and taste in both fish and both fish have similar niches. Both fish are closely related. HSB will get a lot larger and be a more exciting sportfish. HSB may also live longer than the WB. HSB and SMB are compatable and have separate fairly non-competitive niches unless they are cramped into a small pond.
