Sounds good. Maybe more towards mid to late summer.

Mabe a resident geek could help us share a map where we could add each of our approximate locations so we could choose a good central location.

Depening on timing and location I could probably attend as well. Would be cool to meet up for some pond fellowship!

CJBS started a map on Frapper a number of years ago, but the link isn't good anymore.

What about if everybody just updated their member information and instead of just putting "Indiana" in the location, they put the nearest town?

Nearest "big" town, or the questionable bestowing of the word upon a wide spot in the road? grin

"Forget pounds and ounces, I'm figuring displacement!"

If we accept that: MBG(+)FGSF(=)HBG(F1)
And we surmise that: BG(>)HBG(F1) while GSF(<)HBG(F1)
Would it hold true that: HBG(F1)(+)AM500(x)q.d.(=)1.5lbGRWT?
PB answer: It depends.

Nope, just a nickname some friends came up with. Shamelessly stolen from David Lee Roth's.

essup - I updated my location in my profile as you suggested, but I still like the idea of a map if it was made easy (for a tech dummy like me). I could set up an Indiana map in MS PowerePoint and add my location to it, but I do not know how to make it accessable to others.

Threw this together on mapquest real quick...think I got everyone. From what I can tell Indy would be the most central place for all.

I had that same thought actually. Haven't been up there in a while. There are some nice bass in the bird sanctuary and they love purple powerworms!

There is a member in Greentown east of Kokomo - not sure of his name. Numerous other PBoss members are in IN. I might be able to make it to an IN get together. PBoss office can give you a list of all members in IN.

Diamond Dave, thanks for the map! Scott's right, there are more local members scattered about...hopefully they will see this and chime in.

Bill I think it would be great if you could make it. I didn't do any more than introduce myself at the conference, but I would enjoy talking with you.

A get together of PondBoss folks and their families would be very nice, especially at a place like Eagle Creek which it quite nice. I would think those in neighboring states would be more than welcome. I could still use some advice on a planned smallmouth pond that currently has no fish in it. By this summer, it should be stocked with FHM and hopefully other native forage (if I do not goof up the ID of the fish that I catch from our creek). I would love to hear opinions on RE and GSH in terms of compatibility with SMB and on the preferred timing of the stocking of the various species.
