OK I have two Lakes... One is completely Full while the other is down 12 feet. Full pond is 2 acres while the 9.5 acre is down 12 feet. The 9.5 acre pond was full from 2009 to 2010. It has been stocked for 9 to 10 years. With Bass, Bream, Crappie, Blue Cats, and channel catfish. This "9.5 acre" lake has shrunk down to 2 acre do to Drought in North GA and Seepage. I do not want to loose the Good stock of these fish. I have some Really Large Bass and catfish I would like to save, but The smaller fish I could loose. Would it be OK to transfer the nicer Larger fish to the small pond?? I have Bas and bream in the smaller pond. Than I could drain big lake and fix the seepage and try to figure a way to make it fill up.
any advice would be helpful.

The Blue cats as few as they are are EXTREEMLY hard to get. the ONLY place I know to get them is from Texas from Todd Overton. thats a Haul from Texas to Georgia. even If I saved these few blues I have and some of the larger channels That better than nothing...

As long as there is enough forage in the smaller pond.
How do you plan on catching them back out of the small pond to put back in the large pond?
Sometimes larger fish are "set in their ways" in regards to feeding and finding food in the old pond and might not adapt to the new pond.

sigh....esshup, I don't know man...I am just depressed over this al together.... heck I might just leave'm there. The Cats really look forward to the pellets. and EVEN now that their water has shrunk 4 times smaller they are taking to hand feeding! Which is sort of new. I guess at this point I am trying NOT to to be a curl owner. Think there are about 50 of them left now out of 500 fish.. people have stolen my fish over the years.
