Ok so I have some Ture Blue pond dye for the pond. My rip rap around the pond is crushed concrete 4" medium. Will the pond dye the concrete blue? Should I not bother with the dye. Our water fall is hard hard colored granite so not worried about that.
Don't pour the dye directly on or real close to the riprap. A dluted dye at normal concentration will not stain the concrete riprap. Add the dye off shore or along a shoreline without riprap so the dye has time to dilute befoe it reaches the concrete.

Dono I use dye alot in the cooler months. In my experience only things located near a high concentration of the dye have got stained. Following Bill's instructions should serve you well.
Don, this is the ol' GA/AL redneck way that I used: 1 - get a bottle of beer and drink it. 2 - fill the empty bottle with the right amount of dye and add water to fill. 3 - grab another beer, walk down to the pond, and throw the bottle that doesn't have beer in it into the middle of the pond. 4 - go take a nap.

LOL - I expected nothing less. Imagine you had quite a nice bottle pile for structure after a few seasons...
