Oklahoma City had the earliest freeze on record Sunday or Monday. Now it is in the 80's

It's a bit unusual out right now. One would expect this close to the mid-latter part of November. Just hope it blow's over soon. We may really be in for it this year, at least up here.

The one year I get a late start planting my food plots and we have this early cold snap and the frost and freeze that comes with them. I sure hope it doesn't do too much damage.

That sucks, I got real luck on my fall plots. With the drought and all my corn didn't fair well and never got the beans planted. But I planted in front of Isaac and have some great fall plots.

I read something interesting a while back regarding last winter. According to the article by the NWS last winter would have been just as bad as the preceding if the jet stream would have been farther south. They said it was a similar pattern except for the fact that the colder air stayed north.
If pigs could fly bacon would be harder to come by and there would be a lot of damaged trees.
