I know nothing about hybrid cats.
Call the PB office about subscription issues; 800 687-6075
It's not about the fish. It's about the pond. Take care of the pond and the fish will be fine. PB subscriber since before it was in color.

I believe that Henneke's in Texas has them......... another plug for Google....
"Forget pounds and ounces, I'm figuring displacement!"
If we accept that: MBG(+)FGSF(=)HBG(F1) And we surmise that: BG(>)HBG(F1) while GSF(<)HBG(F1) Would it hold true that: HBG(F1)(+)AM500(x)q.d.(=)1.5lbGRWT? PB answer: It depends.

Thanks for the info....googling on my old iPhone can really be a pain where I live. I appreciate the info. Might be interested to know that on Henneke's website is a big cover photo of the 15th anniversary Pond Boss --special edition-feeding fish...pretty cool...

Let us know if you find them, may consider for my next stocking adventure. I would have used them to begin with had I known.
I plan to add some BC and maybe even a Flathead to one of our ponds that needs to be renovated. My thought is let them clean out the stunted fish and when we drain it down we can harvest the cats.
May be neat to see how they grow over a year or two with out much competition.

Here's what I have found so far regarding hybrid cats...apparently there are only a few places (Mississippi, Arkansas and Texas) that produce these fish. Still waiting for a response from one in Texas...I did get ahold of one in Ark, but he just sells them for the company that produces them. He stated these places only sell fish to large buyers (thousands of fish). The fry from this year will be 7-8 inches by next spring and that is the only time they sell them. Told him I wanted a hundred or so and might be willing to drive down and haul them home in my aerated stock tank. He said it might be possible if I was there on the day they take them out next spring. Told me to call him in March to find out what exact day it would be. Now if the weather gets bad or they can't for some reason get them that day, I might drive all that way for nothing. So if all worked out it might be possible to get them this spring. Could also be a big cluster. I will call him back in March and take a shot at it if I can't find any other way. Sorry for the long post

Did you happen to get a cost for that size fish?
Do you know if they would be willing to ship smaller fish?
I know that cats can be an issue when shipping them but I believe a few places do it anyway.
Thanks

I did ask him about shipping fry (I know a place in Missouri that's does this with bc fry) and that's when he explained how they raise this years fry to sell next spring...I did not get a price, but I am still researching this. When I get some more details I will let you know...hope to hear something today from the guy in texas
