I think it's dead FA decaying. Ditto. I would try and rake it out onto the shoreline and let it dry and them remove with a pitchfork. I recently did the same in one of my production ponds that went bonkers with FA this summer.
If pigs could fly bacon would be harder to come by and there would be a lot of damaged trees.

Most of it's so thin you wouldn't be able to rake it.. The black and really dark stuff I could but the rest is just a thin film.. And the real blue stuff I think is some kind of residual from the cutrine plus (it's blue).. What's you guys thoughts on the mega bloom??

My FA is the exact same blue as you have in the pictures and mine is untreated.

Huh that's kinda weird I only have the blue stuff where I really sprayed cutrine on thick.. Of course that's where I had te thickest FA.. Just seems kinda od to me never had this blue stuff before and never used cutrine before this year..

Not necessarily.. Just some kind of leftover from the cutrine plus more the coloring agent than copper maybe..
