Hope JHAP don't freak because the Creek Chubs are taking out the GSF on the small side. Hey, they won't grow any bigger once partially digested Meh, one Creek Chub managed to eat one caged GSF. No worries. Right now as you read this hordes of GSF are consuming countless Creek Chubs, LMB young, BG, RES, Gambusia, etc, etc. Resistance is futile, you will be assimilated. Jhap is around, lurking but slowing fading into obscurity. Jhap is very busy lately and unfortunately has not been to his pond property in well over a year. Jhap has no idea whether or not he even has a pond anymore. Jhap is not sure why he is speaking in third person. It must be this damn new keyboard.... always listening to everything I type, making spelling errors and punctuation snafus, telling me to do things.... terrible things to nasty Creek Chubs.

I think FNC is correct. When a predator is in a trap with other smaller fishes the smaller fishes are much easier to catch by chasing the prey into a corner. Ive seen that feature a lot in trapping fish. I've also had the experience of putting a prey species with a predator species in a cage, and even though the prey species was large enough not to worry about predation, they still got stressed.
If pigs could fly bacon would be harder to come by and there would be a lot of damaged trees.
