Would love some help here. Have a little over 1/2acre pond. 22ft in middle and gradually gets shallow. The pond is run off fed. Being that It is super dry it is down about a ft this summer. I have a good supply of FHM, LMB and crappie. (I know most folks arent big fans of the crappie but I have fished in ten or so 15"+ LMB and they are eating the crap out of the crappie!) Anyway, looking to aerate to improve oxygen levels. I was looking at a rocking piston single diffuser kit for about $600 bucks. It is 1/4 hp, draws 2.3amps and moves 3.5 CFM. This a good way to go? My electric is 75ft from the pond so I would have to run tube down but no problem. What do you think? Here is a pic of the pond..

Thanks Ted for all your time on the phone. I will be ordering from you on Monday when I get back with the measurements.

Nice pond! Where about in NY? Looks like your area looks very similar to mine, so I am guessing the fingerlakes. Near Bloomfield?
