Looks like he's a sweetheart. Is he good with other dogs? We're thinking 2 more Rhodesian Ridgebacks and a livestock dog would be in order when I retire next year.

Al, you don't want a livestock guard dog to socialize with any other animals - especially dogs. Jeff has two at this time and they are born in the goat pens - eat the afterbirth of mama goats and are very protective - unless raised as pets...

That's what I was afraid of. I had read they were more content with their flock than strangers, both 2 and 4 legged, but was wanting to know your experience.
I have a buddy with Alpacas, and he said his GP was an absolute necessity, as the Alpaca's have no way of defending themselves.
I guess I'll have to teach the Ridgebacks to be more than 120 pound lap dogs.
