Here's a BBC post about a LMB caught west of Fort Worth in a guesstimated 1 to 2 acre pond on 01-21-12. The guy was from Tennessee, and didn't weigh the fish. It was returned to the pond. Dave, I may need to turn west on I30 instead of east from now on. potential state record? There goes the theory that big fish can’t be caught in small ponds.. Bill Cody, can you take a fingernail measurement and extrapolate for length and breadth for a weight guestament? Al is going to try to contact the taxidermist that made the replica of the 19 lb Texas state record LMB. That fish is huge!!!
