It would be really really really hard to hide a radiation leak. Put me in the skeptical category.

Geez, irradiate a couple of fish and the whole world comes down on you. Just a few simple side effects to work out....
Those fire breathing ones were tough to take off the hook, though.

I experimented with using the Ove-Glove, but have you ever tried to find a hemostat equipped with a mitten grip? The guys at BassPro were no help at all.

It is no doubt a plot by the GSF to confuse us. Where is that JHAP when you need him?

Actually irradiation of fish my not be as far fetched as you think.
There has been some research on sterilizing fish with it. It would be cool if we could get sterilized crappie that way.

This is probably closer to the truth and was reported yesterday, in all likelihood nothing else has gone wrong but where is that tin foil hat? On the bright side FirstEnergy might be a possible contact for future fish irradiation experiments. http://www.businessweek.com/news/2012-06...o-nuclear-plantFirstEnergy Corp. is repairing a leak discovered June 6 as it restarted Davis-Besse nuclear station in Ohio following a refueling outage, a company spokeswoman said.
FirstEnergy can’t say for competitive reasons when it expects to complete the repair to the reactor’s coolant system or when the 913-megawatt unit will come online, Jennifer Young, a spokeswoman for the Akron, Ohio-based company said in a telephone phone interview today.
The amount of radioactive water that sprayed through the pinhole-sized leak was “relatively small” and no radiation was discharged from the plant, Young said.

Yes, yes, it's all a ploy by the GSF association, at least as far as you know.
Now, who wants to buy some freakishly large growing HBG?? Everything will be fine as long as you aren't pregnant, nursing, or someday wish to have children.

My pond is under a half-million volt powerline. They are currently rebuilding it, to increase it what it carries. The present (I didn't want to use the word "current") cables will light up otherwise-unpowered 4-foot fluorescent lamps in the area of my pond. You don't want to walk around my pond with sandals for flip-flops. The handles on my tractor fenders really burn my elbows when I am under it. The best thing about it is that I don't need a flashlight when I go fishing for catfish at night!

Aw Geeze! As I was writing the post above -- our long lost friend from the GSF Association was creating the "current" issues we are experiencing.

JHAP is actually working on the soccer ball power source that you may have seen on TV as you thought to yourself, "sounds like a JHAP idea."

Make it portable so if anybody from the utility company shows up you can hide it.

SONGS? San Onofre Nuclear Generating Station? If not that, then Diablo Canyon, but I thought that was inland...

Wow, I turn my back on you people for one moment and you get all "conspiracy theory" on me. So let us dispel some unfounded rumors..... 1. The GSA had absolutely nothing to do with any radiation leaks (possible or actual) in Indiana or Michigan. Nothing, Nada, Nyet. 2. While performing my heart felt, love inspired, speech at the conference I was not drunk. Had I have been drunk I probably would have broke into song - probably a Creedence Clearwater Revival medley. 3. The photo that you have of the power plant is in fact San Onofre or "San O" as it is referred to over here. The actual location is the "Old Mans" surf break - a very fun place to surf if you don't mind three-eyed fish. I once convinced one of my friends that the buildings were the location of the Playtex Cross Your Heart Bra factory. The power plant went off line on January 31st and is likely to remain off line for many more months. The GSA had nothing to do with this incident either. 4. The Soccer Ball power generator is real and it works. Unfortunately we invested all of the GSA's huge pension fund in the Hacky Sack Power Pack and it hasn't caught on as well. 5. The Southern California's CPA luncheons were suspended after a debate as to whether or not it is more fun to prepare Form 6251 "Alternative Minimum Tax" (AMT) or Form 8903 "Domestic Production Activities Deduction" (DPAD) got heated and turned to fisticuffs. Those of us that believed that the 8903 form was truly hilarious put a serious beat down on the 6251ers. We now strike fear in the hearts of the wimpy AMTers and the media has nicked named us the "DPAD Demons." When we don our colors (Magenta and Chartruse) and cruise tax conventions people show us the respect that we deserve. Now stop spreading rumors about us or we'll nuke Indiana off the map.

Now stop spreading rumors about us or we'll nuke Indiana off the map. There was a time, not so long ago, that such a harsh diatribe would have been enough to send me packing. I was young then, unwise to the ways of the world, innocent and trusting, a believer in the inherent good of mankind. Unfortunately for you and your GSF minions, I have spent the last few years engaged in growing Hybrid Bluegills. This endeavour has afforded me the opportunity to harden my nerve, and deepen my resolve. No longer am I concerned with empty threats, harsh rhetoric, or snide comments. The scornful laughter of the uninformed now falls on my deaf ears, whilst their condescension falls away like fish slime on a freshly waxed graphite fishing rod. So as is plainly evident dear sir, I have faced oppression before, and I will not shirk from its countenance yet again. Nay, I welcome it. And just so you know, I was recently bitten by one of the irradiated HBG's, and I'm beginning to develop super powers.

Hey, I thought the GSA Pension Fund was earmarked for beer at a certain Missouri get together. Is Hoffa alive and well and masquerading as a Bean Counter?
It's not about the fish. It's about the pond. Take care of the pond and the fish will be fine. PB subscriber since before it was in color.

I have a feeling that the power-plant picture was meant to get gutter-minded people in trouble for the bit of correlation in there. Not that I am gutter-minded or anything.
