These fish were sterile white amur aka grass carp and NOT bighead or silver carp that are causing problems in the Mississippi drainage. I suspect someone thought these fish were silver carp and reported the seller. MI is pretty strict on no stocking of sterile white amur - grass carp.

The initial fines, and Prison Time, seemed a bit light at first, but looks like these Gov employees, may be able to do simple math! Nah... They will screw it up!

Grass Carp is the basis/foundation for the 5 year felony and 1/4 million dollar fine. To be honest with you all, I am glad these guy's and gal's are whooping butt! Michigan is a natural resource that every US State, and every Country in the World would like to own! Or Leech from!

If MI is to go all natural they should kick everyone (immigrants) out but the native Indians.
