I hadn't heard of them until I read the advertisement in Pondboss... I'm inclined to go with the ones Greg Grimes sells just due to his participation here on the forums. The diamonds advertise a lifetime guarantee vs. 3 or 4 years. I don't know if that is a big deal or not. Looking at their website, I note that they have a specific model that is more varmit resistant. Shouldn't they all be? Anyone here have any experience with them?

I think I'm right in saying this they have a higher price as well. They sent me info to be a dealer and I know my price was higher but of course happy with Aquapro anyway. That is a good warranty but will they indeed stand behind it? I have seen a few problems with Aquapro and varmints but very few. Because the food leaves the lower unit via 2 motors and it is all in hopper this discourages the critters.

I purchased two feeders from Greg Grimes because everything I read on the forum indicated he backed his product. Also I read sometime back where he went to bat for someone that had purchased elsewhere and was having problems. His products are good and he keeps his word.

Ranger, Remember that a Warranty is only good if the company actually stands behind it or is still aroung 5 yrs. from now. Not saying Diamond won't be around, but believe we (Sweeney) and Aquapro have stood the test of time. I am always leary of "Lifetime Warranty's". Ours is 3 yrs. UNCONDITIONAL, and I know that Greg stands behind his product. Just my opinion for what it is worth.

bklem,

You guys were impressive in your service of my Sweeney timers. I appreciate your effort.

Question: Do you offer any kind of retrofitting service for my 5-6 year old feeders? It would be nice if I could get the new auger style to try it out without dropping 600 bucks. I saw that you've got 10% off going right now. You'll be hearing from me.

Bruce, You can purchase a retrofit auger system for $125.00. No need to buy the whole feeder. They are not on sale because they are considered a part so our dealers don't even get a cut off or I would have you go through Greg. Just give me a call.
Thanks,
