Is this a warmouth? Couple kids said they put in a couple bream and a bass in my pond. I was trying to fish out the bass and caught this. I think its a warmouth. I am thinking this is one of what they put in....never had these before.  Also just a random pic to share of one of the HBG in the pond.  I saw what I think was another larger war mouth tucked way in the shoreline weeds while snorkeling. If they did put in two to three warmouth are they prolific. will they inhibit my BG / HBG and tilapia production. Mainly wanting sunfish to reproduce alot to feed big predators.

I think that fish looks an awful lot like a Warmouth.

If we accept that: MBG(+)FGSF(=)HBG(F1)
And we surmise that: BG(>)HBG(F1) while GSF(<)HBG(F1)
Would it hold true that: HBG(F1)(+)AM500(x)q.d.(=)1.5lbGRWT?

Think with only a couple in the pond they will breed with the HBG and hybridize even further the hybrids in the pond?

The only way I know to post pictures is to upload to the photos section first.
No war mouth in the pond before these are recent additions in the last month. I guess adding two or three war mouths will not bother much if they breed together into inter hybrid with the others...

Just takes two warmouths to make more pure warmouths. However, in competition with other species they will not dominate. They will compete with smaller bass, redfish, snook, etc for the same size food they'd want to eat. I would highly recommend you begin removing as many of the HBG as you can to clear up biomass for the predators you are planning on adding.

I guess warmouth are not as prolific as BG as to serve as a prey fish?

No, the produce far less eggs per spawn and only spawn once per year.

I should have taken that warmouth out, I assumed they only put the one in then I saw another. Those things up in the shallow grassy will feed heavily on any crayfish I hope to stock i belive. Even if only two....
I think I can get them out. Only a couple grassy area olong the shore, thats where I saw them. Ill go back out next weekend.
