Ok here they are! This first one actually broke my line. I think the line was weak anyway but I had to actually pic the line up from out of the water and pull him in hand over fist. It was great! The RES was 10.5 inches. I didn't get a weight on it but wow it has to be from my original stock 3 years ago. The board the fish is on is 12.5 inches long.

This second RES is nice to I think it's 10 to 10.5 as well. It didn't even take my bobber under it just kind of played with it and I set the hook for fear of something swalling it and BANG fight was on!!

And this pic here is just a bonus! I got close enough to the king of the pond to take a picture so I did. Man the Bully is hugh!!! What a frog! It had some babies near by so it wasn't going anywhere.

And now that I am feeding I can't wait to see the size BG and HSB I am going to get!!

thanks,

Good looking Reds.. I need to start working on mine..

I believe in catch and release. I catch then release to the grease..

BG. CSBG. LMB. HSB. RES.

I believe it even without the picture.

I caught an 8" RES on a 3" "Wild Eye Sunfish" lure while LMB fishing. Either RES are overly optimistic or vicious, of maybe both.

Hey BK,

Thanks, I don't catch a lot of them but WOW was I excited to catch these two. I really was shocked to say the least.

I don't have any RES (yet) nor have I ever fished for them before, how do you catch them? Will a bobber and worm near the bottom work?

Yes they will. I actually cuaght these 2 with bobber and worm with bobber about 2 feet above the worm. They will also hit small popper baits, baby mepps spinners, and beetle spins.

Thanks,
