at what point should i add blue cat back to my pond.....here is the scenerio: Pond is about 2 years old and been stocked for 1.5 years. It is between a 1/4 and 1/2 acre 6 to 8 ft deep. I originally stocked with 50 blue cat 100 bg, and a bunch of minnows (don't remember) we are going to start taking fish out this year but i won't to maintain a steady population cause my whole family likes to fish. i won't to add more just i don't trust the fish guy i think he just wants to sell me stuff. I try to feed daily weather permitting and want to keep my numbers up..

thanks in advance ADAM

this is the only picture i had with me it with me its when i first dyed my pond

Generally you want to restock the number of catfish you are going to remove in 1 year. So if you plan to remove say 50 catfish this year, stock 50.

As cheap as catfish are, I'd stock 9"-10" fish.
