Branson got hit by a tornado last night, and Illinois too.
I hope this isn't a preview of how the Spring is going to turn out.
We're supposed to have almost 60°F temps on Friday, with a predicted high of 38°F on Saturday. Supposed to climb to 60°F here today.

Those storms developed across Oklahoma. Luckily they were east of where I am located.
I have a feeling that the spring is going to be full of storms.
High of 80 F tomorrow and high in the mid 50's Friday.
It could be paving the way for another hot, dry summer down here in Oklahoma and Texas.

We didn't get an ice storm this year. Or, at least, not yet. That is highly unusual.
It's not about the fish. It's about the pond. Take care of the pond and the fish will be fine. PB subscriber since before it was in color.

We were supposed to get nailed with up to 8" of snow today!
Only a bit of rain in the morning then it all cleared up.
This weather has the Meteorologists looking for answers!!!
I should be freezing about now, but my windows are open (3) with a good breeze circulating. T shirt's and short's!

Our weather seems to be coming out of the southeast -- through Tennessee and Kentucky. All I know is that I'm glad we are above freezing, or we would be buried. This time of year I don't have a rain gauge out, but I'd say we got at least 2 inches of rain since early this morning. I'll have to grade the driveway in the next day or two.
A friend and I were looking at some possible improvements to my ponds this afternoon during a lull in the rain. We saw lightning, heard the thunder, and the skies really opened up. That was about five hours ago.
I'm now about to go to the barn and get a pump to make sure my basement door doesn't let any water in. I have about six inches of standing water in the lower part of my driveway.

Where I was at in IL, the storm was about like a normal SUMMER storm. But the Harrisburg area I hear had an F4 tornado that created a lot of damage to that area...

Everyone in Illinois, Indiana, Kentucky, and Tennessee should keep a close eye on the sky. Today they are saying the weather could be worse than earlier this week.

They are calling for severe storms this afternoon, with a high of 59 degrees. High wind advisory too. High tomorrow is only supposed to be 38 degrees. It's staying overcast and cool, it's in the low 40's now. Hopefully the temps won't climb 20 degrees before the storms arrive.
