should aeration be suspended or minimized while trying to get a bloom? Due to turbulance?

I use four diffusers in my little .62 acre pond (two at an equadistance in the center of the pond and one each in between 4 fish cages) and it doesn't seem to have any detrimental effect on the algae bloom.

BTW, I use a more aeration than normal due to the high biomass of fish I have in the pond, and I want to make sure as much pond bottom is habital as possible for the perch I have in the pond that are bottom oriented.

If pigs could fly bacon would be harder to come by and there would be a lot of damaged trees.

Aeration will not usually suppress the development of a plankton bloom. The mixing helps distribute the fertilizer / nutrients.
