Went fishing this afternoon trying to remove some small bass and crappie. Caught 9 bass and 2 crappie. The HSB and LMB were blowing up on shad again. Saw some really nice LMB jumping compleatly out of the water chasing shad. Caught this crappie on a jig out of some brush piles. She was 15" and 2.9 Lbs. She is the biggest ive caught so far. Im trying to get as many as i can out but theres still too many in there.

Looks like she is full of eggs, that or shad... I am betting eggs though. Pretty fish!

It would seem with that kind of growth you aren't over populated with crappies yet. Personally I'd take big crappies over green carp any day.
If pigs could fly bacon would be harder to come by and there would be a lot of damaged trees.

Excerpt from Robert Crais' "The Monkey's Raincoat:" "She took another microscopic bite of her sandwich, then pushed it away. Maybe she absorbed nutrients from her surroundings."

I went fishing yesterday and caught 10 more crappie. 2 of them were around 2.5 lbs and the rest were smaller.
