I caught two small flatheads on night crawlers, last week and was shocked!!! They probebly can eat pelleted feed, but why would you want to feed them on pelleted food?
Feeding Flatheads or Blues on pelleted food is like putting Bass on pelleted food. It is OK and all, but that Catfish will not be the monster on pelleted food as it could be on live forage ...The same for the bass, he really wants to eat live smaller fish.

Im with big pond, any fish over 2 pounds is more likely to want live fish. This doesnt mean they will not come to the dinner bell because they will be eating the small fish under the pellets.
