I seem to be blessed with white clay in, and around the area of my pond. The dam core was all good red clay moved in with an earthmover when we built it. But the rest is white clay, and gold clay"buck talor" as I'm told. I am curious if this type soil is typically acidic. Around here this type soil holds water and doesn't drain well. Stuff plows excellent in the upper food plots though, doesn't clod at all. Any things I should be aware of? Water usually is a dark color.
