Well, I read the post below about the coons chewing up wires and what not. I did not get around to putting conduit from my solar panel to the battery box. Coons ripped up the wiring pretty bad, although I thought I had everything fixed last night, my times were set everything seemed to be running OK, even the system test shot feed out. The problem is that nothing happens on my scheduled feedings. Can someone give me any trouble shooting advice? Thanks, JN

Jason not sure about a Stren but my timer takes about a day to reprogram if it has been reset. Could that be the problem?

I dont know Bill, it seems like when I set the thing up, it was good to go right away, could be wrong though. I dont know if there is a wire that controls the actual timer that I missed or what. I hate to have to put coons the endangered list but those fish are growing out real nice!

I think I may have answered my own question. I called Stren and they said it sounds like I was not giving it enough time after programming. The screen needs to sit for about five minutes blank. I will test her out tonight.

Jason, I think that is it. I have numerous clients say it does not go off but then they tell me they had touched some buttons before the schulded time. It has a sleep mode if the screen has something on it and the scheduled time hits it will not go off. GIve it 6 mins. and it will clear then at the time it is programmed it should work. Stren's customer service is unparralled. If it continues to not work they will send you a new timer or new feeder altogether. If they don't make you happy post it here b/c I want to hear about it.

Thanks Greg, I see why you handle the Stren feeders. Absolutley top notch, it has been and excellent product, now combined with excellent customer service! Can't go wrong with that. If you ever need a reference I'm your man.
