I stocked about 25 LMB about 1 Mar 2011 that were about 4" - 6" long.
Are feed trained LMB less likely to eat fish and other live food?
Will small LMB feed on pellets at the same time as BG?

Are feed trained LMB less likely to eat fish and other live food? Somewhat less likely but they will still eat fish and live food. Depending on the size of your pond and the amount of natural forage a small percentage may go off the pellets and feed exclusively on the live feed. Will small LMB feed on pellet at the same time as BG? Yes.

If pigs could fly bacon would be harder to come by and there would be a lot of damaged trees.

I agree with CB1. I want to add that probably does not mean less forage fish will be eaten. Instead LMB numbers and size/condition will improve. They will then eat more as they get bigger. LMB will eat all they can until they max growth and condition. It is your job to manage the LMB by proper harvest. I can’t stress proper harvest enough as without it , even with feeding and adding forage , you can easily end up with just more hungry small LMB.

Well my 25 LMB seem to being doing great! I think that some maybe between 10" & 11" now. http://forums.pondboss.com/ubbthreads.php?ubb=showflat&Number=268889#Post268889I do think they are terrorizing my Bream.
