After doing some work with my JD and bucket, it is apparent that doing something with the dirt expeditiously becomes the new problem in the sequence.
Has anyone found a reasonably priced way to get dirt from pond and then away from the pond. Trucks? Eh, what? Mail it to Washington?

Great dog pic there!
Not all that far, maybe 150 yards, but digging the stuff up and running it to the dump site seems inefficient.
I was just wondering if I'm missing something that would expedite the work. ??????????

You could rent either a dumping trailer from Sunbelt rentals or rent a large 6 to 8" trash pump and make a slurry out of it and pump it to the dump site.

150 Yds.... If you can't get a pan scraper in there, I'd look into a dump truck 2 people would make it go a whole lot quicker.
Thanks. Those are (were) brother and sister. Both are gone now. Field Bred English Springer Spaniels.

Lessee, I've gone from wanting a new Vette to looking at dump trucks. How far have I slid?
Oh, bother.
Reality bites.
