I got some great answers on applying lime. My pond is in the piney wood of East Texas. When is the best time to apply lime?

We like to lime before it gets warm and before we fertilize in early Feb. here in sothwest georgia.

With Ag lime 4-6 months before you fertilize is the best. Hydrated lime can be done at the same time as fertilization but has drawbacks.
