Just a quick shout-out and tip - the new Big Bite Fightin' Frogs are KILLING in every pond we fish!
I still can't figure out why these baits work so well but I've caught 4 5+pounders on them within the last few weeks - in ponds where we usually only catch little ones. That includes my own pond and a few others we fish.
I'm not affiliated with this company in any way (but if they see this post and want to send me some...).
They are really soft though so they don't last long. Something about them - color doesn't seem to matter that much.
If you're too scared to throw that bait where the fish are, why did you tie it on?

I think they are looking to load up on one large meal.

That's my thought/opinion/observation, too - those baits have a really big body so, I'm guessing that those lazy LMB are hoping to get done eating in one bite.

Dang, I thought this was about TCU.
It's not about the fish. It's about the pond. Take care of the pond and the fish will be fine. PB subscriber since before it was in color.

Boy, if I say "sic em", you'd better look for something to bite. Sam Shelley Rancher and Farmer Muleshoe Texas 1892-1985 RIP
