As I was feeding this evening, I noticed a white, abstract shaped spot on the head of one of my Channel Catfish. The spot is about the size of a nickel. My CC's are three years old, and about four pounds.
I don't have very many CC's (maybe 20) and I feed regularly, so I think I would have noticed it if it was a long term condition.
So, is it a disease, an injury? He seemed to have a good appetite, so I'm not worried yet....

Most likely an injury related to spawning. I wouldn't stress over it...
