This is the first summer for my 1.5 acre lake. Everything is going good. Always stays full. Fish are in there. Feeding them and everything. After the lake was done I put 20 tons of lime in it. That's all I've done. It's been full since march. Notice yesterday some catails starting to grow in one corner where it isn't very deep. There is green algae or something around the edge in a few places. This is by my house and I keep it mowed and weedeated. Is there anything I can do. I've never had my water tested. I got a fountain that I haven't hooked up yet. Waiting on the power.
Will roundup be a good or bad thing to spray around the lake. The 10x10 area where the catails are growing isn't very deep. Alot of minnow stay there. Should I have that dug out deeper.
