Quickest and best product to spray on with a sprayer that dissolves it quickly. I know we use to use karmax when I worked for the ****** but no longer is recommended. But I liked it's results and quickness.. Anything out there work similar that's safe?
Thanks always

Here is something from the Archives. There are numerous things described for dealing with FA. http://forums.pondboss.com/ubbthreads.php?ubb=showflat&Number=92633#Post92633

Yeah Bill I kinda skimmed through te archives, but didn't really find anything or atleast anything mentioned that was comparible to my old ways with karmax and diuron.. I liked those products but have since not read good things about them.. Thanks for the link..

Well I sprayed on the cutrine plus.. I did about 1/2-3/4 if my pond. The FA has turned to a nasty black some has disappeared, also I think my lake looked darker and kinda nasty as whole after the spraying but we got a decent rain yesterday that kinda brightened it up.. Is this the normal process.. And also my biggest question will the aeration I've built really help with this problem? Also about a 1/3 of my pond is 3' or less and I will not be aerating it, will the muck and stuff still breakdown with no diffusers in that direct location?

When I questioned a pond aeration supplier, they said that the system that they'd recommend turned over the pond's total water volume between 3 and 5 times a day. They said it'd help with FA.
The only way to know if the aeration is helping the pond in those areas is to take DO readings at that depth.

I still have to say.. Cutrine Plus doesn't have anything on karmax killing power.. But I guess it'll do..

Yeah I know that now.. I use to use alot of it back when I work for the *****, I wish I could find something comparible but safe, cutrine plus works but I wasn't nearly as impressed as I was the first time I used karmax (10 yrs ago probably)..
