If any one in west Texas is interested I will be given a pond management seminar in Ballinger on May 24th. The seminar will be held at the City Park and will begin at 9:30. I will be presenting at 10:15 and will cover pond management, fish stocking, aeration, and summer drought considerations. Also presenting will be Jan Hatler from Texas Department of Agriculture on pesticide law and regulation, Randy Linex from NRCS on pond construction, and Steve Nelle from NRCS on watershed management. There will be a catfish luch at 12:00 pm.
Happy Fishing!!

I've attended several of these. This sounds like a good one.
It's not about the fish. It's about the pond. Take care of the pond and the fish will be fine. PB subscriber since before it was in color.

Just a clarification, The seminar is at the Ballinger Community Center, which is located next to the city park. I will also be talking about managing pond vegetation in addition to pond construction - Randy
