I am researching information regarding pond liners for fish ponds. I have a 1/4 acre, max 10' depth new farm pond that is showing signs of leakage. Although I realize that a liner's greatest advantage is to stop leakage, I want to learn all that I can about them, both good and bad - cost factors, best investment materials, installation factors, problems that may arise like tearing from roots?, etc. I would appreciate shared knowledge of those with personal experience. confused

From past experience of installation of pond liners you only want to use liners when the pond doesn't hold water on it's own. Water from beneath the liner will begin to lift up on the liner. Pond Seal from Aqua Block would be my first choice. Pond Seal is a bentonite product that will help seal up any leakage that you are experiencing.

Brandon, if it's applied according to the directions, is it guaranteed to work?
