George looks great...but will they back up? Put it on a fly rod and I'd wager big bucks George could back it up!

They look like miniature round bales.
It's not about the fish. It's about the pond. Take care of the pond and the fish will be fine. PB subscriber since before it was in color.

Nicely Done George at first and second I thought you had 5 pieces of Aqua max on the paper. If I was a Bass I would have a sore mouth and be sure to post results!

OK, so now Eric is the new mischief-maker – looks like a new fly naming contest is in order, except this time no booby prize!!! Brillo Pad Hay Bale Goat Droppin’ Mini-Wheat Flip Flop Fly Any others? Reverse 4 on the floor back-up fly? Don’t especially like the geometric shape of this prototype – think today I’ll piddle around with a larger more irregular shape. The fish don’t care ….

George I gather you're punching them out of flip-flops with a piece of copper tubing? After coloring with ?? do you plan on placing them in a bag of AM for a few days to absorb some of the scent or do you figure in infusing them with their own scent. Or perhaps that last photo which would seem to reveal the very essence of the "Gobby George" is just a Red Herring while the truth is that your punching them out of the soles of Panamanian crocs that have been soaking in anise oil for 2 years???? Hmmmmm?

findfoolfish, ground up AQMX works wonders .... except when Mrs. G. discovers that her coffeee tastes like fish oil ... Flip Flops work better than Dollar Store Panamanian Crocs ...

George, those look great! How do they float compared to the real thing? Or does it even matter?

George, I meant to ask do they float as low in the water as a real AM pellet? I think not unless you wound some lead on the shank of the hook. Or do the fish not care? (like a trout and having to match the hatch closely)

HEY GEORGE..SPEAKING OF COFFEE I'VE BEEN MAKING MY OWN MOLDS AND HAND POURING SOFT PLASTICS FOR YEARS AND AFTER NOTICING BRAND X PLASTICS IN A BPS CATALOG TOUTING COFFE SCENTED BAITS I SAID TO MYSELF WHY NOT. IT ACTUALLY WORKS! OVER THE YEARS I HAVE COOKED EVERYTHING IN MY WORMS FROM THE STANDARD STUFF LIKE GARLIC AND SALT TO FRINGE STUFF LIKE FHM'S, GSH GILLS, BACON FAT, SHRIMP GUTS, YOU NAME IT. MY WORKBENCH HAD TO BE MOVED FROM THE GARAGE TO THE SHOP DOWNWIND FROM THE HOUSE..ANYWAY COFFEE IS MY NEW FAVORITE INGREDIENT FOLLOWED CLOSELY BY FHM'S GROUND TO A FINE PULP AND THEN DRIED AND MIXED WITH EVO BEFORE ADDING TO THE PLASTIC. i DON'T HAVE A CLUE WHY I TYPED ALL THIS BUT I'M GOING TO HIT SUBMIT ANYWAY

(like a trout and having to match the hatch closely) Scott, I think you are correct but don't think it makes any difference. Prototype has not been field tested - doen't mattter on any of my smaller foam flies. Have you tried Chubby Steves? Too heavy for a fly rod tho.

George, yes I have, but the fish in my pond wouldn't eat the AquaMax LMB so the Chubby Steves didn't do anything.
