just seen an otter in the water at my pond! i can hardly believe it! i know the damage they can do i found a 3# bass that was being nawed on by turtles and thought it was a GBH kill this mourning and have found other signs in the past but i guess i was in denial!my question/hope/is that someone has had experience with live traping them. i consider myself an experienced trapper with steel and snares and i know how sly these creatures can be, but am hopeing someone has live trapped them.the reason i am wondering about live trapping is if i use steel or snares is unwanted catches/coons/opossums/skunks(believe it or not they do swim). am not interested in accidental catches at this point. (maybe later)!thanks for any advice in advance.
