Doing finish carpentry this winter, I amassed a pile of 10-16" lengths of that cheapo wire shelving used in closets. I was toying with the idea of assembling them into cages of sorts to give the fry in my pond a safe place from predators.
Any thoughts? Is this just a waste of time?
