Ewest Thanks for your help and that link..very interesting, especially your thoughts on removing those hard to catch fish with live bait. While living in south ga a fellow fisherman taught me how to catch, keep, and freeline(drift-troll) BIG 12"+ Golden shiners. We were fishing mostly in very(gin)clear N> FLA lakes from Toho North. While most of my former artificial only buddies were struggling we caught-photo'd-and sometimes kept 68 lmb over 10lbs including my personal best 14-8 between 02/85 and 12/86 !!! Thanks again Ken
ps Ken Holyaoks son Hugh and I worked together back in '91 and I had the priveledge of seeing his Alapaha operation a couple of times ...lots-o-fun. While browsing the forums I came across some pretty damning comments re: Georgia Giants and Ken Holyoke I haven't seen or talked to anyone associated with them in over 20 yrs so it appears things have changed in his business model. Back when I knew him he would have done naked backflips in front of Burger King at high noon and given you a week to draw a crowd to make a customer happy! Oh Well
