Just went to see it. Excellent. Perhaps better than the original. Some will complain about not having John Wayne, but there's also no Glen Campbell so it offsets.

Saw it last night with the family. It was better than I expected, but I prefer the original. Did not really care for the ending.

I went to go see it with my wife based on both of your recommendations. I really liked it. Well, I liked 95% of it. I really didn't care for the ending tho.

I went New Year's Eve and I really liked the movie. I thought the added humor was good, yet they changed some other parts. I really didn't like how Damon character was played. The ending was so so.
Overall it was different but each version was good. Still no one replaced the Duke!

I agree Matt Damon did better than Glen Cambel but no one can replace John Wayne. No Robert Duval either.
