I ordered some fish for my pond yesterday. The regular lady was not in and I was told they are having an issue with some fish disease in certain species from the great lakes area. I ordered some yp and she thinks that may be one of the species. So I may or may not get them. Has anyone else heard of this outbreak? She said it was effecting about 8 states.

Ohio now has a restriction on moving fish. I think the disease in question is viral. See information in this link for more about this topic - http://www.pondboss.com/ubb/ultimatebb.php?ubb=get_topic;f=20;t=003496;p=1

Glad to hear it. I talked to them Saturday and they said its not an issue for me. The only problem now is they have delivered to Indiana already so I am hoping they get a couple more orders to head out here again otherwise I may have to wait until spring. She said they will try their best to get here. Were you satisfied with your fish?

I was out of town, so I didn't see them. My wife was home, but didn't go out to the pond when they put them in. I went out to look for them Sunday evening, but didn't see any. I didn't see any floating, so that's a good sign.
