Give Ted a call on that one. I'm not sure if the diffusers are sold seperately.

Been a long time since Ive had to price a disc as they very rarely need replaced. Price is $32.00 per disc operating range .5-1.25 cfm per disc.

I looked on your website last night for a pressure gauge, 0-30 psi, 1/4" Male Pipe thread, 1.5" dia., inlet on bottom. I didn't see any gauges listed - none. Do you sell them, or know where I could source them? It's a race between another PB'er and I to see who can find them first for his system.

esshup, I only have 2 inch 30 psi liq filled.Try Graingers perhaps also if Bill does not have them.

Why do you require a 1.5" dia gauge? Other sizes work well and are easier to read. I have both dry and glycerin filled gauges 30psi, although 15 psi can work with a proper pressure relief valve installed.

Bill, my mistake. I thought I knew what the size of the gauge was instead of measuring. It is a 2" gauge. It's in a tight spot, and I thought a 2" wouldn't fit.

So, 2" will fit as long as it's a bottom entry, not rear. 0-30 will work fine, dry. 1/4" MIP

ONe can always mount the gauge at an angle or off to the side with T's and/or an elbow.

If those that have built their own aeration system, and would not mind sharing, I'm curious to know what all you have done, any after-thoughts [ie: regrets!], and approximate costs, for what you installed. Reason why I'm asking, is to help the life of my ~3/4 acre pond [teardrop shaped, ~14' deepest, ave ~8'] and its inhabitants [CC, LMB, and BG] here in NE Indiana, and do so with minimum cost PLUS via the 'best and efficient' system. For example, have looked at the Airmax AM30,,, but struggle a bit at the $1390 + tax cost - but with the agreement that this is an investment, for the pond, fish, and me. Thanks.

PS: the pump would be near my house, so quieter the betterer!

I will probably end up with about $1000 invested in mine. I'm going to have probably 8 or 9 diffusers in three different stations. I got a great deal on the pump though and using minimum self sinking hose, building my own enclosure, manifold, electrical to save money plus I'm building it over the course of a year.

Well I got my diffusers. I went with 9 9" diffusers. I'm gonna set up three stations with 3 diffusers per station. This is quite a bit of aeration for my pond. As Ted said not overkill but dang close.. I needed more diffusers to keep my pressure down since I bought my pump first I had to build the system around it.. Just wanna say thanks to Bill and Ted for all the help. Now I have the compressor, manifold, cabinet (getting built), diffusers.. Now on to tubing and electrical and diffusers manifolds and bases. So far on track to be done by spring..

Are you planning on running it during the winter as well? How deep will the aerators be placed? Will you be running all 3 stations at the same time?

Yeah they will all be running at the same time. They won't be running all year just spring summer fall. The depths are 11' 10' 8'.

I'm not even sure if they will be running 24 hrs a day at these times? Thoughts?

Once water temps start dropping pretty well for the winter I don't think it's necessary. I shut my bottom diffuser off when the water temp hit 60°F at the surface.
