GC will not likely have much of an impact on watermeal, but tilapia should make a difference if you can plant them early enough in the season to start hitting the watermeal as it emerges. I think that if you have a heavy WM problem, you'd need a lot of tilapia to really start getting it under control. Hey, Rainman, what's your take on this?

After results on watermeal this year and last in two ponds, I think watermeal may well be more prolific than tilapia.
Yes, tilapia will eat it and it is a favored food, but you need to double (or more) the stocking rates to even start to control the watermeal
